After that, students practice the correct pronunciation of the words by listening and singing a song. After finish this, students are given a puzzle which consist on write the occupations name according to some characteristics by working in pairs.30 minCLOSURE(Speaking)To identify the different occupations taking into account some characteristicsSome students are chosen to have some pictures related to the different occupations while the others are going to receive two different characteristics from each picture given, after that, all students are asked to find the matching cards by saying the characteristics they have.15 min<br />LESSON PLAN:  <br />       WORK PLACES<br />ACHIEVEMENT: To recognize and match the different places where people work<br />COMPETENCE: To distinguish and name the different places where people work according to the occupations they have<br />ESTANDARS: M3<br />             L6    <br />                        <br />STAGEAIMPROCEDURETIMEOPENING(Matching)To relate and identify the work places with the common occupations using some picturesA list of places is going to be written on the board, in order for the students to match the workplaces with the common occupations using some pictures.15 minDEVELOPMENT(Spelling worksheet)To infer the right spelling of common work places by looking some imagesStudents are asked to work with some pictures related to the workplaces in order for them to write the correct spelling of the word by decoding some words found in a word bank. After finishing this activity, students are going to listen and sing a familiar song for them with the purpose of practicing pronunciation.  20 minCLOSURE(Speaking)To use the language by interacting using a conversationA short conversation is written on the board for some students to participate by performing this one.
