What is Sage 50 Mobile • Mobile application is free to download • Available for iPhone/iPod Touch and Blackberry initially… Android and iPad to follow • 75%+ of Sage customers have iPhone and Blackberry platforms (Omnibus and other Sage research) iPhone is 40%+ and Android share is increasing (currently 14%) at the cost of Blackberry with the remainder made up of legacy platforms such as Symbian • Desktop • Only compatible with Sage 50 Accounts 2012 – wizard and configuration tools are built into the desktop which provides the most seamless experience possible for customers • Users are set up using Sage Passport accounts • Concurrency – supports up to 10 users as part of the overall desktop ‘up to 10 user’ allowance 3

Sage 50 Mobile • Sage Secure Gateway • Uses a combination of desktop adapters, gateway and mobile servers providing a ‘live’ 128bit encrypted ‘tunnel’ to desktop/server based dataset • Service will only operate when host desktop or server are operational • Handsets will cache an amount of data based on what was most recently viewed – this avoids reloading data that hasn’t changed (the service automatically checks for updates) 4
