[1] The workshop discussed how ICT tools like telephone can be inappropriate without understanding cultural context and communication barriers. [2] ICT is not a magic tool and requires understanding who, what, when, where, why and how. [3] The medium is most important, as changes in communication technology influence culture and society more than specific messages.
