Voice over script
- 1. VOICE OVER SCRIPT Hi there, my names Charlie, I’m quite a shy and quiet person, but we’ll get on to me in a bit. (black screen with only voice over to set the mood) This… Is S.Dout, (smiling to camera) or as his parents know him Eugene, (straight face at camera) the guy that every girl wants to be with and every guy wants to be friends with. (back to smiling) (the characters cant hear me but it seems as though they can by their reactions) He’s the coolest guy in school and is loved by everyone.(on wall with josh and edon I don’t see why… (straight face) he’s not the smartest but he can make anyone do anything with the click of a finger, including his work. (swap papers) He’d be kicked out of school by now… if his father weren’t the head teacher…. (man in suit turns around in chair smiling) (he gets and f in a test but clicks his fingers and swaps paper with A grade paper.) (teacher in suit in chair looking smug) And then there’s Alice, she’s been my friend for as long as I can remember, shes pretty, smart, kind, funny… not that I like her or anything… (shocked expression) okay maybe just a little…(back to smiling) but do you really think SHE would even consider going out with a guy like… this… (introduction to Veronas character, different shots of her playing with hair and smiling. ) (screen goes black)
- 2. yup… that’s me… Charlie… not the coolest of people by a long shot, but if you need someone to do your homework or sort files alphabetically(me doing work)… im your guy (screen comes up with me in minions shirt and bag) Now you can see why I’ve never been invited to… well… anything really. (getting rejected and laughed at by a group) My aim right now is to get Alice to go out with me on a date, maybe just maybe if people see us together they might think I’m cool and maybe one day I could become popular… (fantasy of me and Verona being together and cool with group) (me and Verona hug and group surrounds us to show im popular) Only problem is I need help, (through mirror looking at myself nerdy) I need to be presentable to her,(walk off and come back in all different clothing and finally pick an outfit) get her to like me, I need to man up, get face to face(face to face with me and Verona) and tell her how I feel. (on camera I say I love you) Just thinking of it makes me nervous. (hold stomach and mouth and almost throw up) I need help from someone that knows how to talk to girls without flubbing words or saying stupid things and constantly running away (Canteen scene where I run away)
- 3. There’s only one man I can go to in my time of need, only one guy to make me presentable enough and even get close to Alice without feeling sick to my stomach… (throughout is scenarios of simeon) come to think of it this guy hates me, (paper hits my head) im just the guy that did his work this one time…(hand him paper whilst he has disgusted look and takes paper off me) maybe he would help me if I help him in class… theres only one way to find out… (black screen then fades up and revolves around simeon and I say on camera “I need your help”)
