This document presents a study on a voltage-current double loop control strategy for magnetically controllable reactors (MCR) aimed at improving reactive power compensation and voltage regulation in AC power supply systems. It compares a proposed double loop voltage-current control system (DLVCCS) to a single loop voltage control system (SLVCS), demonstrating that DLVCCS offers faster response times and better voltage stabilization over traditional control methods. The results indicate that the implementation of DLVCCS significantly enhances the performance and reliability of reactive power compensation solutions.
