3. Limited interactivity: If there was any intera

text based and usually took the form of sen
ding in an email, basic text chat
4. Expensive software: Most creative work bei
ng done on computers was done using exp
ensive software which was complex to learn
and had to be bought on discs and installe
d on the hard drive

platforms such as YouTube, Digg, Blogger , et

for general dicussions.

4. In this way It helps to improve reading, writing,
listening and speaking skills.

1. It is more formal way of communication
2. We can send email to the person whose email id is
known to us
3. Generally it requires same format of application writ
ing in which we are adding subjects, complimentary
close, salutation etc.
4. We can send images without losing its quality.
5. We can share documents, links, pdf, audio, video et
c.
6. It helps to improve writing, reading, listening skills.

This presentation is intended as simple introduction to some
free Web 2.0 type tools that can be used by teachers who a
re interested in using technology in language teaching. The
tools presented here are just the tip of the iceberg. New too
ls are emerging all the time, many not originally intended fo
r education, but which can be put to good use by students
and teachers alike to extent opportunities, enhance learning
potential and develop the level of digital literacy that studen
ts will need for the 21st century
