This technology allows for live audience response and interaction via text messaging. It provides a web-based tool to gather responses from conference or presentation audiences internationally. Attendees can opt-in to receive text updates and participate in polls, which can be multiple choice, free text, or goal-based. Poll responses can be downloaded in a CSV file and identified by name, phone number or other information from attendees for analysis. There is a setup fee and hourly programming cost for custom polls, but nominal costs to participants for standard text messaging.

- 4. ReportingHow can I identify participants by name, phone number, or other ID? The tools’ reporting function lets you match up a participant's answers across multiple polls. For example, we could make a free text poll that asks participants to submit their name, an organization, their cell phone number, or any other identifying information. Then ask other multiple choice or free text questions as usual. By adding the identifying free text poll and any other polls to a report, we can see how each person answered each question.Each and every poll can be downloaded and sorted as needed. This file is in Comma-Separated Values format (.CSV) format, which can be opened by any spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Spreadsheets.Reporting

Dedicated onsite staff is recommended for full poll management.Is it costly to participants?There is standard text messaging costs for participants, but this cost is nominal even if they lack a text messaging plan. Your poll's question (but not your results) is indexed by search engines unless you disable this setting in the Settings tab. With indexing turned off, your polls are private unless you share a secret poll URL with others, or embed the poll widget in a website.
