- 1. I chose Facebook as my web 2.0 application. Anyone and everyone can use it and it is always free. All that has to be done to use it is signing up and creating an account by personalizing it with your information. Collaboration is made easy with Facebook. There is messaging within the application that can be used as email or as instant messaging. Also anyone can create a group and invite people to it. If used appropriately this is a great tool for students who are working on group projects together in class, or even a tool to keep the whole class up to date with assignments and different web sites and resources talked about or shown in class.
