- 1. Week 16 TO DO THIS WEEK- This piece of the portfolio is a paragraph length justification of your rhetorical choices. It should be around 9 sentences. DUE- Sunday, May 3rd, at 11:59 WHAT’S A JUSTIFICATION? This short paragraph does two things—it makes sure you know what your doing while composing this project, and it acts as a kind of check-in for me. A justification is a self-assessment. You are justifying to yourself why you chose to compose how and what you did. This is very informal, so write like you are speaking to yourself. A justification paragraph is a helpful in revising your rough draft. Do your answers to the following questions match up with your work so far? GETTING STARTED Your justification should answer these questions— Why did you choose the design and platform that you did? How are you specifically reaching your audience? What’s the purpose of your message? Why is the content important to you and why should it be important to your audience?
