- 5. Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, its straightforward and commonplace meaning.

- 7. Types of Rhymes ●end rhyme – occurs when the last words of two or more lines of a poem rhyme with each other ●internal rhyme – occurs within a single line of verse ●slant rhyme – words that have a similar, but not exact, sound
