- 1. What have you learnt about technology?

What different technologies have we used when constructing our film While we were creating our product for media, we have used a lot of different types of technologies, for example we used applications like Photoshop to create our ident, furthermore we used premier pro to make the animatic for the film, and also to do all our editing for the film. The physical technology we used for our film was the digital camera, the boom box, and the tripod. Before we made the film we didn’t really have a lot of guidance as to how to use these things but as we carried on with our film we all got the hang of it.
- 3. Hardware When we were making the media product we used different sorts of hardware's, for example, a digital cam corder, the tripod, the microphone. During the media product even though I didn’t use the camera that much I still have an idea how to use it. I did parts of the editing. After we finished our film we used the camera to upload the media product onto the IMAC where we edited it using premier pro. The tripod was used a lot when filming but we also had some hand held filming. This is because when the floor was even we didn’t want to use the tripod in case the shots come out un even. The microphone used in the film was the one built into the camera, we wanted to get the sounds of the echo's and the sound of the fan in the cellar to make the shot look really good.
- 4. Software When filming, we used a lot of different types of software and spent a lot of time using them. For example the software we used the most was premier pro, this was a really complicated software because none of us had any idea how to use it, furthermore the editing was done using this software. We all thing our thriller film would have been really terrible if we didn’t use premier pro. This is because the sound track wouldn’t really have blended into the film and the sound effects and titles wouldn’t of also been in the film.
- 5. Interweb Sites While doing our media product we have used a lot of different interwed sites for example, blogger was the main one, we uploaded all our work onto blogger. We also used YouTube to upload our film on, we used Prezi and slide share to put our presentations on. We used all these different sites because if we only used blogger our presentations wouldn’t look as good, it would be very boring.
- 6. Skills Gained Filming this media product has allowed me to learn a lot of new films, for example before this film I never knew how to use software's such as photo shop, or premier pro. Also, it helped me use a IMac properly. The main skill I have gained is, using a digital cam corder, I knew how to use one before, but I didn’t know about all the different shots, or to even use a tripod to film.
