Interaction design (IxD) aims to create interactive products that are easy, effective and enjoyable to use from the user's perspective. IxD is defined as designing interactive products to support people in their everyday and working lives. The IxD process involves identifying user needs, establishing requirements, developing designs to meet those requirements, and defining interactions through those designs. Usability and user experience goals guide the IxD process to ensure products are usable, efficient, safe, helpful and satisfying for users.
