- 2. INTRODUCTION ❖ The product configurator allows us to choose different product attributes and sell product variants to our customers. ❖ First, activate Variants and product configurator feature from Sales - Configuration - Settings then activate Product configurator for your Point of Sale.
- 3. ❖ Goto Sales > Configuration > Settings ❖ Activate Variants & Product Configurator > Click on Attributes
- 4. ❖ See some pre-configured attributes
- 5. ❖ Goto Point of Sale ❖ Click on kebab menu > Settings of Shop
- 6. ❖ Activate Product Configurator, Customer Notes & Large Scrollbars
- 7. ❖ Activate Advanced Pricelists & Global Discounts
- 8. ❖ Activate Invoicing & Automatic Receipt Printing
- 9. ❖ Goto Products > Open Deck Chair ❖ Add Attributes & Variants, Click on Add a line
- 10. ❖ Goto external link of Attribute Color ❖ See Attribute form
- 11. ❖ Goto external link of Attribute Legs ❖ See Attribute form
- 12. ❖ Variants Creation Mode are, - Instantly: After setting the attributes and variants for your product variants will be instantly created - Dynamically: Variants will not be instantly created but after a purchase variants will be created - Never: Variant will not be created but you can sell variants to customers
- 13. ❖ Click on Variants
- 14. ❖ See instantly 12 variants are created
- 15. ❖ Configure product variants values
- 16. ❖ Add extra price for a particular variants value and exclude deck chair for a particular attribute value.
- 17. ❖ Goto Dashboard > Start a New Session
- 18. ❖ See Deck Chair for all variants ❖ Four product variants added extra 50 because we have set an extra charge for the deck chair with steel leg ❖ Order product deck chair
- 19. ❖ Click on Payment
- 20. ❖ Choose Payment Method & Validate
- 21. ❖ See all the variants and prices are shown separately
- 22. ❖ Close sessions
- 23. ❖ Goto Configuration > Attributes > Create
- 24. ❖ Again Create a Attribute
- 25. ❖ Goto Products > Open Deck Chair > Remove Attributes & Variants > Add Created Attribute ❖ See no variants are created instantly.
- 26. ❖ Product Configurator: It will display a product configurator window which contains attribute & variants for customers. ❖ Goto Dashboard > Click on Continue Selling
- 27. ❖ See deck chair have no variants are created because for both attributes we have set variants creation mode as never. ❖ Order Deck Chair ❖ See product configurator & set attributes
- 28. ❖ See deck chair added to order line ❖ Again order deck chair & Choose different variants by selecting the attribute value
- 29. ❖ Click on Customer
- 31. ❖ Click on Payment
- 32. ❖ Choose Payment Method & Validate
- 33. ❖ Close Session,
- 34. ❖ Goto Products > Open Deck Chair > Remove attribute color > Add attribute color with variants creation mode instantly ❖ See one attribute have a variants creation mode instantly & other one is never.
- 35. ❖ Goto Dashboard > Click on Continue Selling
- 36. ❖ See instantly 3 variants are created for the product deck chair because for the attribute color we have set variants creation mode as instantly. ❖ Order deck chair ❖ See product configurator where it shows attribute & Choose one value for this attribute
- 37. ❖ Again order deck chair
- 38. ❖ Click on Customer
- 40. ❖ Click on Payment
- 41. ❖ Choose payment method & validate
