- 1. What is sup? A mobile enterprise application platform that enable users to simply and quickly develop mobile applications with secure access on a broad range of mobile devices.

- 3. ARCHITECTURE
- 4. • We use eclipse with workflow form editor plug-in as the workspace to develop the MBO(mobile business objects). • MBO’s are the business logic used in the mobile apps . • Data can be retrieved from multiple backend sources as shown in the above architecture. • Applications are deployed to the unwired server and mobile devices can access it through a secure connection with the server. • Server connections are managed using SCC.

Components used • Sybase unwired server – Used to start the Sybase services like work space and control center. • Sybase mobile SDK – Used to develop the mobile apps. • Sybase control center(SCC) – Used to register and manage devices and also to assign workflow to the mobile devices. • Android Emulator – Test the applications.
- 6. CREATING MOBILE BUSINESS OBJECTS
- 7. Accessing the database From the tables in the database select the appropriate table by dragging and dropping it to the mobile application diagram.
- 8. • Select the operations and click ok.
- 9. Creating Workflow Form Editor
- 11. Select whether it’s server or client initiated
- 12. Drag and drop the customer MBO to the flow design
- 13. Go to screen design tab From menu item list select the menu item and click on the menu and add a name to that.
- 14. Go to properties tab Enter the details as shown in the below diagram
- 15. Finally deploy the project
- 16. Click next in the below screen
- 17. Select the database and click finish
- 18. Right Click on the white space in flow design and select workflow package
- 19. Select the unwired server and the user to which the workflow is assigned
- 20. Register the device in SCC
- 21. Configuring the server details in mobile
- 22. Go to sybase workflow shown in above diagram and enter the password
- 23. Then click the menu button
- 24. Go to setting and enter the server details
- 26. Then you will click on SAVE on the following window
