Vizwik is a social platform for teaching coding literacy to grades 6-12 by allowing students to create mobile web apps. It was beta tested successfully with over 600 students, showing that students can learn to code and create an app within 2 hours. The platform encourages social coding and sharing of projects to speed up the learning process. It also enables teachers to create tutorials and share materials to teach coding at each student's own pace.
