Where is French used?
French is one of the  official  languages in  dozens of  international organizations ,  including:   Organisation   Amnesty International   European Union (EU)   International Olympic Committee   North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)   North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)   Red Cross and Red Crescent   United Nations (UN)   World Health Organization (WHO)   World Trade Organization (WTO)
The French language  covers the world ! French and English are the only languages spoken as a native language on 5 continents.

French is the 2 nd  most frequently used language of the Internet and World French is the 1st or 2nd language in 55 countries or regions. Over 200 million people in the world speak French.
An understanding of French is a stepping stone to communication in other Romance languages. French is the language of cuisine, fashion, architecture, theatre, arts, and dance.
Knowing French will… Allow you to compete effectively in the global economy. Increase your job opportunities and salary potential. FRENCH IN ENGLISH French is unique among the modern languages of the world in its  contributions to English. Study French and enrich your English ! French is not a “foreign” language !
More than half of all English words are derived from French.

French remains the main provider of foreign words into English, a borrowing that continues today. Because English has adopted so many words of French origin, by studying French, you will enhance your English vocabulary skills, be able to decode many unfamiliar English words, and build English vocabulary.
