Bernie Dodge proposes a mobile learning project called WonderPoint that involves students capturing geotagged photos and voice notes during a class visit to a plot of land. Students would then post interesting questions about their observations and findings to receive points for coming up with good questions and finding answers through research. The project aims to encourage student curiosity by having them look at ordinary surroundings with a beginner's mind. WonderPoint will be tested in San Diego in November with plans to deploy it widely in 2011.
