What does the NCRC
Measure?
The NCRC measures problem solving and critical
thinking skills in the context of:
• Reading – applying information from workplace
documents to solve problems
• Math – applying reasoning to work-related
problems; setting up and performing calculations
• Locating Information – synthesizing, applying,
comparing from multiple, related graphics

ranks individuals in four soft skills.
