- 3. What is a Landing Page? Isn’t that the same thing as a front page? 1

- 5. A landing page can be simple 5 Buy Buy our product Sign up for service Sign Up Download our thing Get Join our group Join
- 6. Higher end products or services? Your landing page may need to persuade the visitor that they need your product or service and you might include images, videos, and testimonials to drive them to take action. Or it could be really informative 6
- 7. The anatomy of a landing page Headline Make sure you have a good headline that is clear and concise. It should be relevant to the Call To Action. Strong Call to Action The call to action should be very clear on what the user should do. Be assertive and helpful. CTA Button Use keywords the user would be searching for like FREE, BUY, JOIN, DOWNLOAD. The button should be big, bright & easy to find. 7 Avoid Distractions Avoid using a bunch of links and remove sidebars that might steer the user away from taking the action you want them to take. Build Trust Use customer testimonials, press mentions, and quality and/or satisfaction guarantees to build trust in your products and services. Use Images & Videos Assure the user with images of the product or service. Provide demonstration videos to remove any doubts the user may have in taking action.

- 11. The main blocks we need are... COVER (or Header) CALL TO ACTION (or Button, Feature) TESTIMONIAL (or Quote, Feature) 11
- 12. Place your screenshot here 12 Using the Cover block Create a new page, give it a title, and then add the Cover block. You can insert an image or you can use a solid color for the background. Add a headline and a subheading - or add some copy.
