How to teach Marketing Research Online This is a big challenge • This course is offered completely online. • Statistical Tools are necessary for the data analysis part. • Students often have weak statistics background. • Even if the instructors offer detailed examples, students still have difficulty to fully comprehend the concept.

Marketing Research: Online Project Project • Each group formed their own research questions • Each Group designed their own questionnaires and coding scheme. • Each student conducts his/her own Analysis (Individual Report) • Provide detailed feedback and guidelines at each stage. • By using their own survey, I give them detailed instructions on how to conduct analysis. • Provide lots of examples in the ‘project’ folder.

This was the most challenging of my courses, but also the most fun and rewarding… I did finally figure out how to get some form of data analysis available, but it only gave me the option for linear regression. - 11. What‘s next? I am introducing a simulation game into my Strategic Marketing Management course this semester . This is a very comprehensive and demanding project. I plan to use Adobe Presenter to give students some hands-on experience.
