The Image Task Force (ITF) was set up in 2007 to review Y's Men International's image and make recommendations. The ITF received feedback from member surveys indicating a desire for gender equality, more community involvement, and a less complicated logo.
The ITF proposed simplifying the logo, adopted at the 2012 Council Meeting. They also proposed new umbrella names for the association and new optional club names emphasizing community. These proposals require Council and club votes to change the Constitution. If approved, the current four club name options would become five, simplifying branding while keeping YMCA association. The ITF believes these changes will create a clearer, more consistent international image.
