The blowroom line is the variable concept for optimally opening and
cleaning fibers. This guarantees the highest level of yarn quality.
PROCESS FLOWCHART OF ROTOR SPINNING
Carding is a mechanical process that disentangles, cleans and
intermixes fibers to produce a continuous web or sliver suitable for
subsequent processing. This is achieved by passing the fibers
between differentially moving surfaces covered with "card clothing",
a firm flexible material embedded with metal pins. It breaks up locks
and unorganized clumps of fiber and then aligns the individual fibers
to be parallel with each other.
Drawing is one of the processes which comes after carding.
Doubling and Drafting actions are taken place in the draw frame process.
Improve the uniformity (linear density) of sliver up to optimum level.
Improve the fiber arrangement in the sliver and to make the fibers parallel to the sliver
length.
Straighten the hooked, curled and crimped fibers present in the sliver.
Draft the material and to reduce the weight per unit length of sliver.
Mix or blend the components of sliver to each other and to find homogeneous
material output.
Eliminate the dust and impurities present in the sliver.
Feed material is breaker draw frame drawn sliver. During this process
6-8 breaker slivers are fed to this machine to produce more parallelized
& uniformed finisher sliver.
Sliver is fed into the machine and combed and individualized by the
opening roller. The fibers are then deposited into the rotor where air
current and centrifugal force deposits them along the groove of the
rotor where they are evenly distributed. The fibers are twisted
together by the spinning action of the rotor, and the yarn is
continuously drawn from the center of the rotor. The resultant yarn
is cleared of any defects and wound onto packages.
The Rotor Spinning process has completed and the result yarn in
Cheese form for Sale.
