Implication of behaviorism learning theory
 Type of learning environment that is based on
    Ivan Pavlov’s Classical Conditioning.
 It can be involved in both positive and negative
    experiences of children in school
 This type of learning happens when the
    children associate their learning experience
with something that either make them feel
    pleasure or uncomfortable at school.
 Type of learning environment that is based on
    B.F Skinner’s Operant Conditioning.
 Based on giving reinforcement(reward) and
    punishment.
 2 types of reinforcement:
- Positive reinforcement
- Negative reinforcement
 Applied behavior analysis is an application of
the principles of operant conditioning to
    change learner’s behavior.
 Two usage of Applied Behavior Analysis:
- To increase desirable behavior
- To decrease undesirable behavior
 Six operant conditioning strategies to increase
    child’s desirable behavior :

 - choose effective reinforcers
 - make reinforcers contigent and timely
 - selecting the best schedule for reinforcement
 - consider contracting
 Use negative reinforcement
 Use prompts and shaping
 strategies to decrease child’s undesirable
    behavior:

 - use differential reinforcement
 - terminate reinforcement
 - remove desirable stimuli
 - aversive stimuli
