New research from the TCforBE Project takes a hard look at the EU’s sustainability reporting regime (2022) – and asks: Is it enough to spark real change in biodiversity governance across global agri-food value chains? 📢 Our latest report, “𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙮? 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙐 𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞-𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨" dives into the early impacts of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS E4), with a spotlight on biodiversity in agri-food supply chains linking European demand to ecologically rich but vulnerable regions of the Global South 🇪🇺🌍. 🔍 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:  🎯 Most companies acknowledge biodiversity, but integration into strategy and supply chain action remains rare.  🎯 Disclosures are often generic and symbolic, lacking measurable goals or real-world impact.  🎯 Equity, Indigenous rights, and local voices are largely absent from reporting and governance.  🎯 Financial markets are starting to pay attention – but need clearer, comparable, and actionable data to invest in nature-positive change. ⚠️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸?
