We were proud to sponsor and take part in celebrating The Reserve at Juniper in Midtown, Atlanta, at the Summer Solstice event hosted by Circle of Trust Atlanta. This rooftop gathering offered impressive skyline views and brought together a diverse group of industry professionals for an evening of connection, collaboration, and conversation. 🏢 JSE provided MEP Engineering services to the project, making it even more meaningful to be part of the occasion. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and share in the excitement surrounding one of Midtown’s newest developments.

🗞️ Project in the News: Our team was the MEP engineer for the Gower Court Mausoleum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, a distinctive project in Los Angeles designed to create greater access, space, and serenity for families visiting their loved ones. Located above the resting places of icons such as Judy Garland, Rudolph Valentino, and Hattie McDaniel, this project carries cultural and emotional significance. We appreciated the opportunity to share our expertise on energy modeling and its significance to new construction with the outstanding team at EDI International, PC through our AIA-accredited Energy Modeling course. Attendees learned the essential information needed for accurate energy models and explored the broader benefits of energy modeling, including evaluating energy efficiency, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting sustainability goals, while also gaining strategies to collaborate effectively with energy modelers and advance sustainable building practices. Thank you to Aaron McEwin, P.E., LEED AP and Kendy Guillaume, LEED AP for steering the discussion and ensuring teams remain at the forefront of the industry. The session sparked ideas, answered questions, and provided knowledge for attendees to immediately put into practice to give their team practical tools for the work ahead. Discover the many uses of energy modeling beyond design and set up a Lunch & Learn with our team at the link below: https://lnkd.in/dGJsN_q #EnergyModeling #LunchAndLearn #AIAAccredited #BuildingEnergyModeling #Energy

Why does it matter who your sustainability consultant is? 🎧 Episode #2 | When the Rules Change, the Benefits Don’t: Green Building Because being led by engineers changes everything. At JSE, our MEP engineering and sustainability teams work hand-in-hand, educating each other, collaborating early, and solving problems internally before the client even knows there’s an issue. That kind of coordination not only improves quality, but it also means one less consultant to manage. You don’t have to hire both services from us. But when it’s time to choose your sustainability consultant, know this: having engineering expertise behind the design decisions makes a difference. And that difference shows up in your results. The 2024 IECC isn’t just another code update, it introduces design, construction, and operational changes that teams can’t afford to overlook. These updates influence everything from project planning to building performance, shaping the future of energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and occupant safety. We recently had the opportunity to present one of our most popular AIA-accredited courses, 2024 IECC Compliance Paths and Major Changes, to the talented team at Ware Malcomb. During the session, participants learned how to navigate multiple compliance paths for both Residential and Commercial projects, gained practical tools for accurate documentation, and explored the nuances of the new requirements. Most importantly, the conversation created space for attendees to ask real-world questions, ensuring they left with actionable knowledge to apply directly to their work. A big thank-you to Aaron McEwin, P.E., LEED AP and Corey Stenman for leading this conversation and helping empower teams to stay ahead of the curve. Want to equip your team with the insights they need to lead in energy code compliance?
