The Management 2.0 Hackathon, conducted from November 2011 to June 2012, aimed to reinvent management by leveraging web technologies to foster adaptability and innovation within organizations. Participants from around the globe collaborated to explore principles of management 2.0 and develop practical hacks to address management challenges characterized by inertia, incrementalism, and disempowerment. The initiative highlighted 12 key principles for effective management, emphasizing openness, collaboration, autonomy, and the meritocratic nature of online interactions.
