Data collection and processor head were discussed and the TECHNO carriage was presented at this event. 2016 ICF National Conference, The Timber Supply Chain: Dynamics and Opportunities 27-28 April in Newcastle The #SLOPE consortium warmly thanks all the participants to the presentation of the Project held at this event.

Trento (Italy) 4th 5th July 2016 Tasks and Results T.8.1 – Dissemination planning and publications results. 6) LATEST EVENTS Workshop "Application of NIR spectroscopy in wood science and technology", From the 19th to the 21st of April 2016 at the IVALSA Institute, San Michele all'Adige (Trento). 3rd #SLOPE technical meeting Cork. 20th January 2016 This event was successfully held in Cork on the 20th of January. During the event, the consortium had the opportunity to present all the advancements of the last 6 months, including hardware prototypes, sensor analysis and the current SLOPE platform which reached version 1.3 in that moment.

Prandi, D. Magliocchetti, A. Poveda, M. Andreolli, F. Devigili, R. De Amicis has been accepted at the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing ISPRS 2016 Conference in Prague. #Slope FORMEC 2016 Warszaw, Poland. 19-20 September 2016 Warsaw University of Life Sciences - SGGW will host the 49th International Symposium on Forestry Mechanization from September 4 - 7, 2016 in Warsaw (Poland). The main topic of FORMEC symposium highlights the challenges faced by various players in the forest engineering sector and is concentrated on the issues connected with forest harvesting systems, forest road network planning and construction, wood transportation, environmental effects of forest operations, utilization of forest biomass for energy, and forest work sciences.

Trento (Italy) 4th 5th July 2016 Tasks and Results T.8.1 – Dissemination planning and publications results Workshop 1 Workshop on Hyperspectral Imaging at BOKU-UFT 20/03/2015 A workshop on Hyperspectral Imaging was organized on 20 March 2015 at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (Austria). The workshop was very successful; it hosted 58 participants from 11 countries and was a real international, transdisciplinary and interdepartmental scientific event.

Trento (Italy) 4th 5th July 2016 Tasks and Results T.8.1 – Dissemination planning and publications results Workshop 2 FORMEC TECHNICAL WORKSHOP 8-14/10/2105 - Linz, Austria The SLOPE Technical Workshop was held within the FORMEC Symposium in Linz, Austria at the beginning of October 2015. FORMEC aimed to gather worldwide scientists, researchers and practitioners in forest operations and planning to encourage cooperation, and exchange of knowledge and information in forestry profession and science.

Trento (Italy) 4th 5th July 2016 Tasks and Results T.8.1 – Dissemination planning and publications results Workshop 3 NIR & WOOD – SOUNDS GOOD! – second edition 19-21/4/2016 – San Michele all‘ Adige, Italy The purpose of the workshop was to encourage dialogue at the international level and to exchange of experiences related to the research and applica-tions of NIR spectroscopy for wood science and technology.

Trento (Italy) 4th 5th July 2016 Tasks and Results T.8.1 – Dissemination planning and publications results Workshop 4 17th KWF meeting 9-12/6/2016 – Roding, Germany One of the biggest forestry demo fairs in the world. The meeting consists of three elements: forest machinery and innovations demo fair, field trips and a scientific congress. The SLOPE project was presented at the scientific congress by giving an oral presentation and during the demo fair by Greifenberg Teleferiche, which was presenting the SLOPE TECNO carriage.

Trento (Italy) 4th 5th July 2016 AIM • Identification of the business scenarios, identifying the target market, competition and internal competencies. • Creation of the appropriate SLOPE business model, where the corresponding market segments will be estimated according to the best practice models of market forecast. This model will be the basis for a 5-year business including the required investments and the estimated Return on Investment (ROI). • Production of a business plan that will also include a strategy, financial analysis with meticulous risk analysis. • Risk analysis will be performed to detect any potential weakness and identify adequate solutions. • Development of a detailed exploitation strategy by each partner, detailing how they intend to exploit the knowledge from this project. • Each of the individual exploitation plans will be integrated into the overall exploitation plan (ITENE) • Development of required material for hooking up investors
