This document provides an overview of a presentation on authentic literacy and formative assessment using technology. It introduces the presenter, Andrew Steinman, and defines the goals of the presentation which are to define authentic literacy and formative assessment, simulate an authentic literacy activity incorporating formative assessment, learn how to use technology tools that support authentic literacy and formative assessment, and design an activity around authentic literacy incorporating formative assessment.
