 How accessible is a particular technology for learners?
 This technology is accessed by learners easily. The student should have TV device
  and instructional channel.
 How flexible is it for a particular target group?
 Television doesn’t require special training to use it. Students should have place
  and specific time to watch the content.



 What is the cost structure of each technology?
 No need to pay for each programme you plan to watch. The cost include the cost
  of producing the content, equipment, technical and human support.
 What is the unit cost per student?
 AC(N) = F/N + V = 4500/30 + 2000 = 2150 .This unit cost for one month.
 What are the opportunity costs vs. other technology choices?
 TV is cheaper than video conferencing.



 What kinds of learning are needed?
 Our stated objective could be met by television program. Instructor could use
  individual or group based learning.
 What instructional approaches will best meet these needs?
 Lecturing & demonstrating. The instructor demonstrate the content to learners.
  The learners receive and try to understand and take notes about the content
  provided. They could use phone line for any question.
 What are the best technologies for supporting teaching and learning in this
  environment?
 The best technologies for supporting teaching and learning in this environment are
  audio and video. Also, both student and teacher could use fax and phone for
  feedback.
 Can the content be adapted to the technology?
 Yes
 What skills does the technology develop?
 Television develops some skills for example, critical thinking, listening , note
  taking and develop their language.
   What kind of interaction does this technology enable?
   This technology enables Synchronous interaction.
   How easy is it to use and learn?
   It is user friendly technology.



 What are the organizational requirements to provide stability and support?
 It doesn’t require training .It require technical support. maintenance and
  production team for producing the instructional materials.
 What are the barriers to using this technology successfully within the institution?
 Barriers such as power failure could affect the learning process.
 What changes need to be made within the organization to incorporate the
  technology?
 Provide tv devices in the classrooms.



   How new is the technology?
   It is new comparing to radio for example.
   What are its technical capabilities?
   Broadcasting can reach long distance. There are a lot of channels. TV has large
    size screen.



 How quickly can courses be created and distributed with this technology?
 Creation process take long time along with good skills. But, distribution of these
  content is faster and can reach wide audience.
 How quickly can materials be changed?
 The materials delivered by television are not easy to change. It requires time and
  effort to do so.
