Deemple Morar describes the process of creating a double page spread in InDesign. They began by creating three layers and inserting a large image to take up the left side. Next, they added the masthead at the top of the page, changing the font and color to make it stand out. Additional elements like the page number and web address were also included. The article text from a word document was then placed on the page and adjusted to fill gaps. Color-matched boxes were added behind elements to make the writing stand out further. Finally, a standfirst providing insight into the article topic was added below the masthead to complete the double page spread.
