Long Division
We are going to divide. It is easy to do, as long as you
follow the steps. Division is like a recipe. The steps
must be followed precisely and in order for the problem
to come out correctly. The following silly sentence will
help you remember the division steps:
Do Monkeys Sniff Brown Rats?
D = Divide
M = Multiply
S = Subtract
B = Bring down
R = Repeat or Remainder
Here is a division problem to work
out:

We need to decide how many times 14 will go
into 16.
It will go 1 time.
