Erik Duval gave a presentation on learning analytics at Alberdingk Thijm College in Hilversum, Netherlands on March 12, 2013. The presentation covered measuring student data through online activities, designing dashboards to visualize analytics, and examples of analytics tools. Duval discussed both the opportunities and ethical issues around collecting extensive student data. He emphasized using analytics to help students reflect and improve their learning.
