I do not have a preferred learning style, I am a visual, audio and kinisthetic learner.Make lectures as varied as possible, with video, audio, pictures, moving diagrams etc. I like writing wiki-articles on topics of my interest, which also puts new stuff in order and I remember it for a very long time.I like them to be very interactiveI cannot learn parrot fashion - if I don't understand something I won't remember it! Simply being read to, with little interactivity, is unlikely to work well. Learn how to use it [technology] properly. I prefer group study (or peer to peer studying) rather than individual work.

Editor's Notes

  • #5: We had stands at open days to approach potential studentsThe survey was widely promoted to current students through facebook, our uni weekly email, and stands in the library and students union so as to approach students and explain about the survey and encourage them to fill it in.Representation from all departments – which meant that we have results to present to all departments from their students. All students we spoke to were very enthusiastic
