Theme What happens when surfers become authors? Web author numbers are increasing; but this dilutes the technical capability of web authors - what does this mean for accessibility? How well do web authoring tools and user agents (including AT) support accessible authoring? And how accessible are these web authoring tools - whether available publicly as part of the Social Web or as corporate business tools?
Submissions 12 accepted for Technical papers (acceptance rate 36%) 7 Communication papers, 4 Web Accessibility Challenge submissions Geographically diverse, covering 5 continents: AUS, BRA, CAN, ESP, GBR, GER, GRE, ITA, POR, THA, TPE, UGA, USA
Process Each submission peer-reviewed by 3 reviewers We used the rebuttal process for the first time to enable responses to reviews Author rebuttals were influential in making final selections
