Every object has a center of mass, which can be found by suspending an object from different points and marking where the lines intersect. This experiment shows that the center of mass of a card is where three lines drawn from suspending the card from different holes meet. The center of mass determines an object's stability, with a lower center of mass creating a more stable object. There are three states of equilibrium: stable, unstable, and neutral.

Hang the card from a different hole and repeat step 2. and 3. 5. Repeat step 4. once. 6. The 3 lines meet at a point.This point is the Center of mass of the card. The card can be suspended from its center of mass and balance properly without tipping over.
