- 2. Before You Start … Watch Introduction Video Demo: www.yetesoft.com/demo Before you start, you should have a basic understanding of how to set up SMTP accounts, import contact list and send out your first email marketing campaign in 1and1Mail.
- 3. Free Email Services Nowadays, You can easily register a lot of FREE email accounts online and send mass emails through their SMTP servers.
- 4. Daily Quota or Hourly Sending Limit 100 people / day 100 people / day 100 people / connection 100 messages / connection 100 people / day 20 people / connection 100 people / day 200 messages / connection However, most of these free SMTP accounts impose send limit per hour or per day on one email account or one IP address.

- 7. Multi SMTP Account Manager Add the email accounts into the Multi Account Manager. Divide them into groups based on their service providers. (All @gmail.com in one group, all @hotmail.com in another group, etc.) Reference: 1and1Mail QuickStart Guide - SMTP Account Setup
- 8. Test SMTP Connection When you input your SMTP email account details, click “Test Account” to make sure each connection is working correctly. (Please refer to www.yetesoft.com/SMTP for commonly used SMTP settings)
- 9. Switch IP Method I: Proxy Servers
- 10. Add Proxy Servers Go to “Tools -> Proxy Servers”
- 11. Add Proxy Servers Click the “+” sign to add Proxy Servers. Follow the instructions in the new window and input proxy IPs and port numbers. Hint 1: At least add 10 proxy IPs for the IP Switcher to work best. Hint 2: Just search “proxy servers” or “proxy ips” on Google and you can find a lot of free and paid proxy servers.
- 12. Send Task - Select Senders Start a new Task. In the “Task” window, select all email accounts as senders in the “From” dropdown box.
- 13. Send Task - Grouping Go to “Advanced” -> “Grouping” -> Click “>> ” -> Select “Auto Proxy Switcher”. Now, you have finished all the settings.
- 14. How Your Emails are Sent In this case, 1and1Mail will follow the steps below to send emails: 1. Select 2 email accounts from each group and send to 20 email addresses from each account, using 1 Proxy IP. 2. Change to another Proxy IP. 3. Select another 2 email accounts from each group and send to 20 email addresses from each account.
- 15. Send! When everything is ready, click “Send”.
- 16. Switch IP Method II: Network Redial
- 17. Set Up Broadband Connections In most cases, broadband connections should be already set up on your PC before you use 1and1Mail. But if you haven’t set it up, please do so in Control Panel -> View network status and tasks -> Set up a new connection or network.
- 18. Verify Network Connections Setup If your broadband network connections have been set up successfully, you should be able to see them in Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections. (You need to use broadband dial-up connection in order to use Auto IP Switcher in 1and1Mail.)
- 19. Set Up Automatic IP Switcher Go to “Settings” -> “Auto IP Switcher” tab. Input your account of dial-up connection to the Internet. (1and1Mail will automatically disconnect and reconnect to the Internet to obtain a new IP address at certain frequency. With changing IP addresses, you earn more daily send quota.)
- 20. Select Senders Start an email campaign. In the “Task” window, select all email accounts as senders in the “From” dropdown box.
- 21. Send Task - Grouping Start a “New Task” -> “Advanced” -> “Grouping” -> Click “>> ” -> Select “Auto IP Switcher”
- 22. Send! When everything is ready, click “Send”.
- 23. How Your Emails are Sent In this case, 1and1Mail will follow the steps below to send emails: 1. Select 2 email accounts from each group and send to 20 email addresses from each account. 2. Disconnect and reconnect to the Internet to switch IP address. 3. Select another 2 email accounts from each group and send to 20 email addresses from each account.
- 24. Review Sending Reports When the task is finished, you can find it in the “Sent” folder. Right click the task and choose “Task Log” to view the sending report of the email marketing campaign.
