This paper presents a battery-less grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system utilizing a five-level common-emitter current-source inverter (ce-csi). The proposed system efficiently injects sinusoidal output current into the power grid, demonstrating low harmonic content and unity power factor operation, as confirmed by both computer simulations and experimental tests. The study highlights the advantages of the mcsi technology over conventional inverters, including reduced maintenance and improved performance even under distorted grid conditions.
