Changes in our lives!!! Describing changes, Verb + Infinitive By Profr. José Ma. Jaramillo S. May, 2008

Emottionally Fall in love Get married Have a son
Proffessionally Change School Learn a language Get a job
The propuse of this unit is to learn how we can describe changes in our lives.  We can use  SIMPLE PRESENT I study in the University I don’t work in the office anymore PAST TENSE: I moved to a new city. I got married with Laura PRESENT PERFECT I have bought a new car. I havn’t finished my career. COMPARATIVE My house is bigger now. My hair is longer now.
Check the changes on Emily’s life. Emily has a stressfull life now. She studies in the mornings and works in the afternoons She has a boyfriend now. She doesn’t play with dolls anymore. She likes to go dancing on weekends. She prefers to watch movies than cartoons. Simple present
Past tense She  moved  to her own apartment. She  bought  a new car. She  started  the university, last year. She  got married  two months ago. She  graduated  from high school. She  learned  French and Japanesse. Present Perfect She  has gone  to Europe twice. She  has lost  weight. She  has changed  her hair style. She  has cut  her hair. She  has changed  her job.
Comparative Her life is  more stressfull  now. Her apartment is  bigger. Her school is  more difficult  this year. Her hair is  longer  now. Her car is  faster  and  more comfortable. Her classes are  more interesting  this semester.
