This paper presents a comparative analysis of an OFDM system using comb-type pilot-based MMSE channel estimation over frequency-selective multipath fading channels. The authors evaluate the bit error rate (BER) performance for various digital modulation schemes and interpolation techniques, concluding that the MMSE method outperforms LS and that performance varies with the number of channel taps. Simulation results show improved performance with different modulation types, highlighting the efficiency of low-pass interpolation and the advantages of BPSK modulation in the proposed system.
