This study presents a novel adaptive bandwidth approach to reduce torque ripples in induction motors controlled by Direct Torque Control (DTC) methods. The proposed method enhances the performance of conventional DTC by adjusting hysteresis bandwidth based on error values, leading to a remarkable reduction in torque ripples, verified through MATLAB/Simulink simulations. Results demonstrated that the adaptive bandwidth DTC method reduced torque ripples by approximately 60%, improving the overall control efficiency in induction motor applications.
