Reinventing the Share Button for Physical Spaces

This document presents the Ambient Dynamix framework, which allows browser-based apps to access sensor and device context from the physical environment. The framework includes a web extension that gives apps access to plug-ins for various sensors and devices through a central repository. This allows apps to gain awareness of their physical context and enable ad-hoc interactions. The presentation demonstrates the framework enabling a web app to control lights and projectors in the environment based on user context. It provides examples of plug-ins for various sensors and devices that could be accessed through the framework.
