This document summarizes a project on developing bioinspired algorithms for peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. The objectives were to improve scalability and fault tolerance of P2P networks using bioinspired algorithms. The project achieved its objectives through developing an evolvable agent architecture for self-organized connectivity in P2P networks and studying mechanisms for fault tolerance. It released its implementations under an open source license and had success disseminating results through publications, conferences and online networks.
