Google has announced that Android N is now called Android Nougat, featuring improved graphics and performance. Notable features include multi-window support, night mode, doze mode for battery conservation, enhanced notifications, and support for virtual reality through Google's Daydream platform. Additional features include launcher shortcuts and support for Unicode 9 with 72 new emojis.
