This document outlines a project-based learning unit on relationships and the environment for 9th grade students. The unit will focus on tide pool restoration at Assilomar State Park. Students will conduct research at the tide pools and beach, then develop conservation action plans. They will integrate knowledge from English, history, science, and math. Assessments include creating a bio-dome ecosystem, a graphic novel on the French Revolution, and presenting a habitat restoration plan. The driving question is "How do relationships affect the environment in which we live?"
