Siemens believed that all the other theories such as Cognitivism and Behaviourism did not address the new aged digital world, so he emerged a new theory based on today’s digital time.George Siemens stated that “technology has changed the world and the way we live, communicate and learn and as a result of the technological change traditional learning theories which (were developed in a time when learning was not impacted through technology) do not adequately transfer to a digital format (Siemens, 2005). Learning and knowledge rests in THE diversity of ONLINE COMMUNICATION.
