Where to save your data Personal Folder M:  CD-DVD Flash Drive SD Card External hard drive
Taking Care of Your Computer Never eat or drink near your notebook.  The majority of non-warranty damage is caused from spills and can cost you money. Never carry your notebook while it is open or by the screen or the front portion of the keyboard - carry it towards the rear portion of the keyboard near the numbers row using  two hands Never move or carry your notebook while it is running, close the lid. Don’t force USB devices.  If plugged in incorrectly, the system board and USB ports can be damaged which could cost you. Make sure you use the icon to safely remove any USB devices or SD cards. Never leave your notebook out of your sight (even for a second) If your notebook is stolen, immediately contact the Bentley Computing Services Desk  and  the police.  You will be charged a fee of $750, provided you file a police report within 48 hours.  If you fail to file a police report within 48 hours, your student account will be charged the fair retail market value of the notebook.  In either instance, your notebook will be replaced. VIDEO
