• Way to achieve a goals by efficient manner.
• Commitment to achieve an excellence in academia, by implementing
advanced and innovative tools to solve a desired problem.
• Proven commercial or professional procedures to get most effective
solution for desired problem.
• Enhancement of tools and technique to get benchmarking result.
• Collaborative activity to get a measurable outcome.

Best Practice Activity
Mission
 To improve the reliability this leads to get desired result, by applying
techniques or methodology through experience and research.
 By implementing advanced and innovative tools to solve a desired
problem of the institution and department, for their enhancement.
 To get measurable outcomes or solutions on identified problem.

Instructions
1 Attendance of each member is mandatory for every review meeting.
2
Identify major problems or area of Institute/department and to frame the
measurable outcomes.
3 This activity is strictly and regularly monitored by higher authority.
4
Chairperson of each group is exclusively responsible for smooth conduction of this
activity.
5 Every member of this activity should follow the instructions provided by chairperson.
6 Guideline and certain directions for this activity will be provided by cell coordinator.
7
At the end of this activity, every group should come up with measurable outcomes
by implementing advanced and innovative tools.

Rules and Regulations
1 A review meeting after every 15 days is mandatory.
2
The committee insists to identify major problems or area of Institute/department
and to frame the measurable outcomes.
3 The committee strictly and regularly monitors.
4
The committee will provides certain direction to get measurable outcomes or
solutions on identified problem.
5
This activity is carried out among the group of faculty members of each department
and work together for a specified schedule.
6
Each group contains minimum 5 and maximum 8 members, out of them; one
should be a chair person.
7
Each group should take any challenge or problem which is offered under the title
of Institute theme or department themes and at the end of this activity, every
group should come up with a measurable outcome or improvement by
implementing advanced and innovative tools.

Steps in Best Practices Activity
1. Problems identification:
 Institutional theme- Common theme is decided at Institute level and all
participated groups should be work on same theme.
Development of any product which is to be commercializes
2. Problem selection:
Problem selection is to be selected by using appropriate method like rating
method, by conducting various surveys, brain storming etc.
3. Problem definition:
Problem definition so clear that, it reflect all the aspects of the identified
problem.
4. Problem analysis:
Problem analysis is to be done by appropriate findings or parameters.
5. Cause - effect analysis:
Identification of root causes of the selected problem and its effect analysis
is to be done properly and systematically (Why Why Analysis).

6. Development of solution:
Expansion of solution is to be in line with the root causes, which are
recognized by cause-effect analysis.
7. Implementation of solution:
Properly accomplishment of solution is to be done with the measurable
outcomes.
8. Report of the activity:
Drafting of report as per guidelines provided with proper coverage of all the
steps in a logical way.
9. Final Presentation:
Presentation should contain high integrity and confidence with the future
scope for further improvement of stated problem.
