This document summarizes the experiences of three teachers at Lower Canada College who transformed their classrooms and pedagogy through the use of iPads and mobile furniture. Nathalie Simard, a Grade 3 French teacher, conducted action research on using iPads and found benefits like increased interactivity, collaboration, communication, autonomy and critical thinking in her students. Michele Owen, a Grade 7-8 English teacher, redesigned her classroom with IdeaPaint and mobile furniture to encourage movement, visible learning, and diverse assessment. Both teachers saw increased student engagement and the ability for students to demonstrate their understanding in multiple ways.
