IBM Verse is a new email and calendar tool that uses artificial intelligence. It understands what is important to users and helps them focus on key tasks. Some companies that have tested it, like a large European retailer and marketing firm, praised how intuitive and user-friendly it is. IBM plans ongoing development, adding more capabilities for mobile use, social integration, security, and assistance from IBM's Watson artificial intelligence.

Havas Creative manages an IBM Verse beta environment and plans to roll it out to more than 5,000 employees across North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific this year.
