We express GENERAL future plans with the following structure…

A verb in INFINITIVE
Examples:
We hope to start a new business [We have the future plan to start a new business]
I expect to finish my homework by 6:00 [I have the plan to finish my homework by 6:00]
My mom doesn’t intend to travel to Miami [My mother doesn’t have the future plan of
travelling to Miami]
